Community and Charity Work

We're about more than just beautiful baby slings, wraps and carriers; we want to wave the banner for babywearing! We think more people should know about the many benefits of carrying your child, and over the past few years we've teamed up with groups and dedicated people who share that passion.

We appreciate all the support we've had from babywearing community over the years, and we're always looking for creative and practical ways to return the favour.

We're delighted to work with over 100 sling libraries and 300 certified consultants, midwives and doulas worldwide, through our schemes offering discounted wraps and carriers. For more information, or if you’re interested in joining up, please contact us.

We have a great selection of educational materials about babywearing. Our collection of Mucha-inspired images, created to celebrate International Babywearing Week in 2015, are available to buy as posters and greeting cards. Educational leaflets produced with these designs are available for free, and outline the benefits of carrying your child for breastfeeding, bonding and attachment, health and development - based on academic research. We love having the opportunity to spread the word about the benefits of babywearing with a celebration of iconic art and design.

We can also offer safety and instructional leaflets, and extra copies of brochures, for all of our carriers, wraps and ring slings. Just get in touch with us if you would like to request any of these materials.

Over the past few years we've worked with lots of charities, offering donations and fund raisingfor causes that we, and many of our customers, care deeply about. £20 from every sale of a Visayas patterned wrap or ring sling is donated to Habitat for Humanity, a project that helps provide decent housing in areas affected by poverty or disaster.

Scottish charity Trees for Life, whose goal is to protect and support the regeneration and planting of native trees, receive 10% of the profits from the sale of each of our Eco Bags. It's really important for us to be pro-actively involved in sustaining Scotland's forests and encouraging new growth in barren areas. We love our environment - it's beautiful and inspiring, and we want it to stay that way.

We've raised over £5000 through justgiving.com and our Facebook Page, raffling or auctioning popular wraps for causes including Maternity Worldwide, Water Aid, Arthritis Research UK, Tommy's, Omaleshe Projects, Neuroblastoma Children's Cancer Alliance, Children's Chronic Arthritis Association (CCAA), and Exeter Leukemia Fund. We're grateful to have so many generous and warm-hearted customers who have helped us raise awareness and funds for such a wide range of deserving causes.
