Woven with striking burgundy and black tones, these scarves are like nothing you will have seen before from Oscha.
Recycled polyester from plastic bottles and recycled cotton from t-shirts are used to make this gorgeous new type of Ceò scarf. A thicker wrap-weight warp with a finer Ceò-weight weft yarn makes this new version of our Ceò scarf thick and spongey in hand. Woven with longer floats these scarves are wonderfully mouldable, snuggly soft and perfect for wintertime.
Cashwool is a fine merino yarn, made from mulesing-free wool, which is super soft and wonderfully breathable making Andaluz Cherry lovely and cosy.
Why Recycled Plastic Bottles & T-shirts?
As a Zero Waste company, we are passionate about supporting efforts to use existing resources saving them from ending up in a landfill.
As you may know, while plastic bottles can be recycled there are not many uses for the plastics recovered from this process. Repurposing these plastics as polyester yarns is a fantastic way to get a useful product from a valuable resource without using any new raw materials.
CARE INSTRUCTIONS: We recommend spot cleaning your scarf due to the polyester content, however it can be hand washed if washing is needed. Use a suitable wool detergent. Lay flat to dry and iron on a cool setting.
