Named for an inky-dark lake which lies near the east gate of Moria, this handcrafted shawl features runes, taken from the song sung by Gimli during the Fellowship’s quest to Mordor, which read, “In Moria, in Khazad-Dum. The world was fair in Durin’s day.”
These striking runes are shown in ecru wild silk, which brings a delicate strength and a gorgeous speckled texture across this jet black backdrop.
This item is part of the Middle-earth Collection, inspired by The Lord of the Rings.
Note: This item has not been Soft Touch finished, due to lockdown restrictions, it is still ready-to-wear but made need a little love to be in its softest state.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS: Hand washing is recommended, although a silk cycle on a known reliable machine may be used at your own risk. Use a suitable silk detergent. Hang to dry, avoiding direct sunlight and iron on a cool setting.
