What are Woven Seconds?

Weaving is a complex process and it is normal for small cosmetic imperfections to occur. Rather than disposing of this perfectly good fabric and generating unneeded waste, we offer these at a discount of 10% or 20% depending on the visibility of the imperfections. Rest assured, all of our 2nd or 3rd grade slings are perfectly safe to carry your baby.

✔ Great for newborns ✔ Gentle stretch  ✔ Wonderful shimmer This beautiful fabric is woven on a gorgeous organic cotton mirrored grad which runs through rich jewel tones, from jade green through deep purple to magenta. The intricate textures of our Lilika pattern are picked out in a beautiful burnt orange yarn. Intensely shimmery with a tactile quality, Lilika Seer is woven with Superwash wool and organic cotton for a very soft fabric with a gentle stretch. Wool’s temperature regulating properties keep you warm on cooler days, but will also keep you cool in warm weather making this fabric perfect for all seasons.  Lilika Seer has a wonderful drape and moldability which makes it ideal for newborns and for new wrappers. Organic cotton offers a little extra strength and softness to this handmade fabric, making it suitable for use through to toddlerhood. Superwash wool is a lightweight woolly yarn which offers cush and drape. This easy-care yarn is safe to wash on a 30-degree delicates cycle, making it perfect for busy wool lovers. Our organic cotton is softer and stronger than most cottons, produced ethically this cotton is grown with care and without chemicals keeping the land, and farmers, healthy. Oscha Slings are ethically handcrafted in Scotland and come with a Peace Of Mind Guarantee.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS: Gentle machine wash cycle at 30 degrees on a delicate or wool cycle, avoiding bleach and fabric softener. Lie flat to dry. Iron on a cool setting. FABRIC COMPOSITION: 59% Organic Combed Cotton, 41% Superwash Wool, 68cm wide. FABRIC WEIGHT: approx. 269gsm
